This stone built detached cottage is situated just outside the village of Allihies in County Cork and sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. Four bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double with en-suite wet room with shower, basin and WC, 1 x ground floor double, 1 x ground floor twin, 1 x single. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. 1st floor basin and WC. 1st floor fitted kitchen, with dining area. 1st floor sitting room with open fire.
Allihies Lodge is a stone built detached cottage, situated 1 mile from the village of Allihies on the County Cork coast. The cottage can sleep seven people in four bedrooms made up of two doubles (one with an ensuite), one twin and one single. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. To the outside of the cottage is a lawned garden to the side and off road parking for up to six cars. With stunning coastal views from the cottage and with fabulous walking available close by, Allihies Lodge is a wonderful cottage, no matter what you are looking for from your holiday. County Cork is full of truly breathtaking natural beauty. With unspoilt beaches, historic castles, and modern visitor attractions, there's plenty for all ages to absorb and there is always plenty to see and do in County Cork.

Fuel and power charged by meter reading. Starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for 6 cars. Lawned garden to the side. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile.

The village of Allihies in County Cork overlooks Ballydonegan Bay with its magnificent quartz strand, a direct result of the mining era. The village lies on The Ring of Beara, a tourist trail of about 195 kilometres (121 miles) circumnavigating the peninsula. Attractions nearby include Dursey Island, which is linked to the mainland by a Cable Car and is the only such ride in Europe to cross over water. There are also many coastal and countryside walks and quaint villages to enjoy.

"we ( 6 adults and one toddler ) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in allihies lodge .... the accommodation was spacious clean warm and comfortable ,with terrific views from every window . the village was within easy walking distance , the beach 40 mins walking, the copper mine routes 10 minutes . We will return for more . All other walking routes were arrived at by car . What we liked best was leaving our cars and walking out the front door for our walks and attending Dzoghoen meditation centre The beach whilst stunning is a bit treacherous for swimming due to its very steep water entry ."
