"this is a lovely cottage but have to agree with the other review about the damp it seems to be the older side of the cottage that is affected, but we did have a lovely week here very much a home from home but you do need a car if you are staying here, the village of ballydehob is lovely with a view pubs and shops and a playground for the children back to the cottage the two bathrooms are both on the ground floor as well as one bedroom and the living area, upstairs two more bedrooms. all rooms are of a good size and everything you need is in the cottage except for bathroom towels you will need to bring your own and at the end of your stay you need to take your own rubbish to the local tip and recycling center (there is a fee for this) or you can leave it at the cottage along with 15 euros and the owner will dispose of it."

"Pretty cottage in a beautiful village. Allnecessary equipment there. Had to bring own travel cot as that or high chair not available. The cottage needed a thorough cleaning windows full of cobwebs . Pillows and mattresses need to be replaced . Downstairs bedroom damp. But it is still a beautiful cottage. If they cleaned it and replaced the above it would be much improved."
