Offering quality accommodation set over the ground floor, this single storey cottage 1.5 miles from Newborough sleeps four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite walk-in shower, basin & WC, 1 x twin with en-suite bath, shower over, basin & WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area & sitting area with woodburner in small inglenook fireplace.
A semi-detached barn conversion in a pleasant courtyard setting, this holiday property makes a superb base for an enjoyable Anglesey holiday. The double and twin bedrooms both enjoy en-suite facilities, and there is a very well furnished open plan living area which includes a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a welcoming sitting area with a woodburning stove in an Inglenook fireplace. There is a front patio area with furniture, and guests also enjoy useof the owner's lawned garden next door. The beach is 2 miles away, with its protected Nature Reserve and miles of sandy dunes, and the rest of Anglesey is waiting to be discovered. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot & booster seat available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Front patio area with feature well (safe for children), garden furniture & BBQ. One small well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop & pub 1.5 miles. Beach 2 miles. Note: There are 3 steps up to the front door.

Newborough on Anglesey occupies a good position on the edge of forest and dunes, on the south west corner of Anglesey. Newborough has a shop and a pub, and is close to Llanddwyn Bay, with its famously fine beach. There is a protected Nature Reserve to the back of the beach, home to a whole host of wildlife. The rest of Anglesey's attractions, including the Sea Zoo, model village and more, are within easy reach, as are the mountains of Snowdonia and the coast and castles of the Lleyn Peninsula.

"We booked The Stables after reading good reviews and our expectations were high. First impressions are good - clean, modern,two en-suite bathrooms - and dog-friendly. The location is lovely and peaceful and convenient for visiting Newborough Beaches as well as easy drives to most parts of Anglesey. We did experience a few problems with a dishwasher...so nothing was clean. Judging by some of the stained cutlery (and rusty-tipped knives), glasses and some plates - it may have been a problem for others before us. The owner did look at it and said the thermostat must have broken but beyond giving us 2 extra teacloths no more was mentioned. I hope they got it fixed before the next guests arrived. The washing machine was hard to find but made an appearance after the shed was cleared out towards the end of the week. After loading our washing in and eventually getting it started, I was told by the owner it was broken. It seemed to wash our clothes ok...but the dryer was not ok! It took 3 hours to dry our stuff....well - almost dry it! We appreciate that appliances break down or wear out...but it would have been easier to overlook these issues if there had been a greater willingness to put things right more quickly. The Stables is a lovely place to stay - as long as the maintenance regime is in place and everything works as it should do!"
"This was our 4th visit to The Stables. The property is excellent, exceptionally high standard of cleanliness. Everything you would ever need is there. The owners Christine and Martin are so friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is just beautiful at any time of the year. The bonus is that The Stables is pet friendly, our little dog loved it !!! We will definitely be returning again."
"The thick walls and excellent central heating kept us cozy despite the biting temperatures. The setting was lovely, particularly with the snow on the mountains. A real home-from-home; spotless and with all our needs provided for. There was even milk and wine in the fridge, and flowers on the table. We would highly recommend. And, be sure to visit the nearby farmshop"
"great welcome,lovely complex, just far enough away from main places to offer secluded break,great semi private beach for kids (entry by key fob). has great food and areas to visit within 30 mins travel,(try organic farm shop on road to llanfair,fantastic value).all in all enjoyed our stay and would stay again,fantastic in the sun,plenty to do when weather not so good.thanks and good luck in the future"
