This modern, luxurious four bedroom property in the village of Southerness is able to sleep up to eight people. All ground floor. Four bedrooms: 2 x double, 2 x twin. Bathroom with bath, large walk-in shower, basin and WC. Separate toilet with wash basin. Fitted kitchen. Sitting room with sofa bed, dining area and sea views.
This modern, well-presented cottage is a detached building in the small coastal village of Southerness. Well equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout, the property offers comfortable rooms. These include two double and two twin bedrooms, a fitted kitchen and a lounge with dining area. Patio doors open out onto the large decked area with hot tub, with wonderful views over the Solway Firth, and there's a large cottage garden. With off-road parking for up to three cars, this is an excellent place for a break with extended family or with friends. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Well established lawned garden with patio area, garden furniture and children's play items to rear, sun terrace to front. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

Established in the late 18th century, the village of Southerness looks out over the Solway Firth and forms part of the Colvend coast. Home to two pubs and a village store, the seaside village also boasts two miles of sandy beaches with dunes, rock pools and warm Gulf Stream waters, as well as one of the oldest lighthouses in Scotland. Built in 1748, this beacon was one of the first in the country. Nearby Criffel Hill is an impressive 569m tall and offers varied walks with wonderful views of the farmland and the sands of the Nith Estuary. The Southerness Championship Golf Course is definitely worth playing for its panoramic views of the Solway Firth, the Cumbrian Lake District and the Galloway Hills.

"What a find.6 adults 1 child and 2 dogs had a marvellous stay at the Beachcomber Cottage. The cottage is Tardis like and has every amenity you could wish for.It has a large contained garden with 3 decked areas,a play area for children with slides swings and play houses and many toys.All this overlooking the sea which is on your doorstep.Homer the owner is very helpful and makes you feel very welcome.With regards to recommendation,i already have.Thank you Homer for a perfect week Taff and family"
