"We stayed here for a week and after the first day wished we had booked for two weeks. This modern barn conversion is in an ideal position. The beach is just down the road and Harlech and Barmouth are not far away. Barmouth can be reached by the train that stops in the station nearby. The barn itself is very comfortable and the views from the sitting room are by far the best we have had from any holiday home. The owners live next door and could not be more pleasant. We even received a tray with tea, milk and cake when we arrived. We will be returning for sure. Highly recommended."

"Very easy to find as is visible from main road. A stunning barn conversion although it is only the recessed part, not the whole of the building. Despite this, it is a real "Tardis" on the inside, finished to a high contemporary style, very comfortably furnished, well equipped and easy to keep clean. Dramatic views of the mountains which seemed to change with the weather from the large picture window and sea views from the picnic table on the top terraced lawn. Shared Wi-fi is available with the owners next door but not advertised as can be unpredictable. Courtesy was second to none, more than life's essentials were provided, only unpacked clothes, personal toiletries and food. A short stroll through the village to the "people friendly" beach (they only have a small designated area!), the rest, and the nature reserve, dogs are permitted, it is possible to do a circular walk to Harlech beach, not for the faint-hearted as it includes crossing the rail track and a steep climb but worth it for the breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Not a lot to do in immediate area so a car is pretty essential although it is close to publc transport but makes a wonderful touring base."

"We stayed in Wales (and UK) first time. The owners gave us a very warm-hearted welcome and are very likeable, friendly and helpful. As English is not our mother tongue and we do not speak the language fluently, unfortunately, it was very pleasant that the owners spoke slowly and clearly. So there were no communication problems. The cottage was very clean, very comfortable and nothing is missing. It is very lovingly furnished and decorated. The surrounding area is really very beautiful. The close proximity to the mountains, the sea, the sights and the town Harlech is ideal. We enjoyed our visit in Wales and our stay at this cottage so much that we already booked the cottage again for our vacation next May. Mrs. Brockschmidt, Osnbrueck/Bornum , Germany"

"Well maintained modern barn conversion ideally located for those who like a restful break in peaceful surroundings. Close to the sea with an exellent beach walk. Lots of inland routes to take for cycling or walking. It's just a pity that the pub isn't within walking distance but you can't have everything. The owners live next door and are happy to give whatever help you need. We arrived to find a tea tray with cakes ready for us! We will be back."

"I can not recommend this property more highly. The location was excellent, 10 minutes walk with our dog to the beach, which was so empty and clean. Harlech was 5 minutes in the car, with a good selection of take aways, who wants to cook on their hols and the most magnificent castle... The propert was clean, tidy and laid out lovely with everything one needed for a hasel free holiday. The owners , who live next door, where so nice and helpful. All in all, a fantastic quiet relaxing break with great walks and even though the weather was a bit wet, it was in October, the views where fantastic. We have already recomended it to our friends and will be going back there too."

"A very well appointed cottage, the upside down accommodation gave us lovely views of the surrounding countryside while sitting relaxing in the evening. Although it was July we had half a week of rain, but it was a lovely cottage just to relax in and play board games with the children. Within walking distance of a lovely sandy dog friendly beach and a circular walk took us up to Harlech for a well deserved cream tea. Would make an excellent base at any time of the year."

"We were welcomed by Mrs Roberts (the owner)on arrival, with a sincere cheerful manner. The cottage was clean, fresh and supplied with everything needed for a self-catering holiday. The views from the lounge window were tranquil and beautiful. We were there in spring and all the new lambs were hopping round the field. The location provided a nice stroll down to the lovely beach which has a local cafe (in high season). Harlech Castle and the seaside town of Barmouth were within easy driving distance. We liked everything about the cottage and location and being able to take the dog was a great plus for us. I couldn't fault a thing! Would definately return."
