This stunning semi-detached cottage is situated on the outskirts of the village of Selside near Kendal in Cumbria and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double with TV ( zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x king-size double with TV, 1 x ground floor twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with woodburner. Second mezzanine sitting area.
Longwell Cottage is a superb semi-detached stone built property with many original features located not far from Kendal, the southern gateway to the Lake District. Sleeping six in two double bedrooms (one with zip/link) and one twin . Fabulous farmhouse kitchen with Aga, living room with woodburner and additional mezzanine sitting room on first floor with access to garden. Beautiful flagstone terrace areas to the front and rear, and generous off road parking. Located on a working farm, Longwell Cottage can be booked with the adjacent Longwell House providing accommodation for up to 10, making it ideal for a big celebration, and provides the ideal base for an exploration of the Lake District for a family or a group of friends. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Enclosed front and rear lawned gardens with patio. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 4 miles. Note: Working farm location.

Situated in the heart of the famous Three Peaks, Selside is a lovely hamlet made up of traditional dwellings and a village green. The surrounding countryside is magnificent, offering the ideal location for fell walking, with the famous Three Peaks Walk, Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough offering some of the most challenging walks in the country. Only 2 miles away, the Ribblehead viaduct, completed in 1870 is a magnificent structure and the sight of a steam train passing across the top is one not to be missed.
