This lovely ground floor cottage is near to the village of Pocklington in North Yorkshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
The Courtyard is a delightful ground floor cottage, 2.5 miles from village of Pocklington near to the town of York in North Yorkshire. The cottage can sleep four people in one double and one twin bedroom, together with a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage comprises an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and seating area. To the outside of the cottage is ample off road parking and a shared front courtyard with furniture. The Courtyard is in a delightful part of Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Pocklington is a small market town in the Vale of York. The town has a selection of shops and eateries, along with a civic centre showing films and a leisure centre for swimming and sport. Pocklington is close to many famous attractions including Castle Howard, Sledmere House, Burnby Hall Gardens and the city of York.

"Arrived at this property to HUGE disappointment. The first thing was there is no view, no garden. The kitchen had no room to put groceries. The floor covering was lino throught the whole place. Very unwelcoming. Not even a bottle of milk. The main bedroom has a tiny single wardrobe no way near big enough for two winter coats, let alone a weeks worth of clothing. The towels were supposed to be white but looked like they had been washed with something dark and looked a grubby grey colour. The twin room had bed linen which had not been ironed with grubby looking towels. Slightly bigger wardrobe, but again no where near enough storage. There were no rugs to stand on when you get out of bed. Very sparce furniture. We walked straight out and went back home. We booked this at the very last minute as we had our original character cottage cancelled due to a problem. Sykes tried to find us an alternative but this was the only place available at such short notice. Please think carefully before booking."
