The market town of Pocklington rests at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in the Vale of York. Best known for its Burnby Hall Gardens - 8 acres of gardens with two large lakes. There are several world famous attractions nearby - majestic Castle Howard, Sledmere House, and of course the historic city of York. The town also boasts a leisure centre offering a wide range of sports, a Civic Centre and the Pocklington Arts Centre.
