The Coach House is a lovely Grade II cottage situated in the village of Knowbury just four miles from Ludlow in Shropshire. The cottage can sleep four people and has one double bedroom and one twin as well as family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a private courtyard with furniture. The Coach House is a delightful cottage with panoramic views over Ludlow and the surrounding countryside. A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 15/20 mins walk. Note: Low beams in bedrooms. Note: The owner?s dog will be on-site at the property. Note: due to location of the property the WiFi can be intermitent.

Knowbury is a small rural village situated in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near to the Clee Hill, just 4 miles from the historic market town of Ludlow which is situated on the River Teme. With nearly 500 listed buildings, Ludlow's medieval street pattern remains almost intact and provides a fascinating backdrop for the town's regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle.

"Stayed here recently and had the most wonderful time. The setting is perfect with glorious views and the fabulous town of Ludlow close by. The hosts were very helpful and friendly indeed and made our stay most enjoyable. The Coach House is beautiful and cosy - my only slight issue was the shower over the bath being hand held but as this was clearly stated on the website I had no complaints. Will definitely be returning soon!"
"Booked for a short notice family week away in Shropshire, I can thoroughly recommend the Coach House. Very comfortable to stay, excellently hosted. Well equipped. We had a really comfortable week away, there is bucket loads to see in the local area or failing that beautiful walks literally on the door step. Accommodation is of a very high standard."
"We recently returned from a perfect new year away at the Coach House. The location is very quiet with beautiful scenery perfect for walks in the surrounding countryside. The building is annexed from the owners property which we found convenient when we checked in and had questions. The owners are very friendly and relaxed, with great communication prior to arrival. The cottage itself is very pretty and well equipped, the photos are an accurate representation. We were a party of 2 however there is sufficient space for 4 comfortably. Generally there is plenty of space however the bath is fairly small and there is no shower, however given the space constraints in the bathroom there is no real way to improve on this. In any case it was certainly no major problem. We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend."
"Beautiful dog friendly cottage. Owners are extremely helpful and very approachable. The cottage is well furnished and very comfortable. The area around Ludlow is beautiful and Ludlow is a vibrant market town. The owners have a dog of their own who is also very friendly and loved playing with our dog. We are hoping to return next summer."
