This semi-detached cottage located on the outskirts of the town of Creetown sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x ground floor super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Ground floor bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove.
Gled Cottage is a luxury semi-detached cottage on the edge of the town of Creetown, near Newton Stewart. The cottage sleeps six people in three zip/link bedrooms, consisting of one double with an en-suite shower, a super king-size double and a ground floor super king-size double, as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a shared, enclosed lawned garden with patio, summerhouse, furniture and barbecue. Gled Cottage is an ideal base for a family who wish to visit the Galloway Forest Park, Wigtown and other attractions that can be found in Dumfries and Galloway. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Shared enclosed lawned garden with patio, summerhouse, furniture and BBQ. Salmon fishing on River Cree can be arranged with owner prior to arrival. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk. Note: Sloping ceilings in first floor bedrooms. Note: Intermittent mobile phone signal.

The small town of Creetown in the Dumfries and Galloway region of south west Scotland offers the Gem Rock Museum, a shop, Post Office, pub and restaurant. Seven miles away is Newton Stewart, which boasts several shops, takeaways and bars, plus the Galloway Forest Park and Gatehouse of Fleet are within easy reach.

"Stayed here on a business trip with my wife ,the place was exceptional,very comfortable with a great garden for the dog. Karen ( the owner) made us very welcome,met us at the cottage and showed us round,the village is great with very friendly locals,beautiful countryside would definitely stay again ,only wish we had more time."
"We rented this cottage for a week in May 2015 and found it to be beautifully renovated, comfortable and very clean. There was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs and biscuits which was a very pleasant surprise. There were only the two of us so we slept in the downstairs bedroom, although there were two more bedrooms upstairs. Probably the only criticism I would have is that there was only one bedside light and no hanging space for clothes in this room. I can understand the reason for this, however, as the big king size bed can be separated into two single beds which would leave no room for more than one bedside table and certainly no room for a wardrobe. There was a good sized chest of drawers which had to suffice unless you wanted to walk upstairs every time you needed something from a wardrobe. The location within the village was good but we were a little underwhelmed by the facilities in the area. There wasn't as much to see and do as we had hoped to find in this area. Nevertheless, the cottage itself was wonderful with possibly the only improvement being the addition of an electric clothes dryer for those travellers from overseas, like us, who have limited baggage and have wet weather to contend with."
