"The cottage was clean and tidy, with excellent facilities, the freezer and dishwasher a bonus. The village is beautiful and very quiet. Excellent paths to follow and Betws-y-Coed only 20mins away. A perfect tranquil escape to unwind in."

"We stayed in this cottage for a week as a family of 3. The cottage is very cosy and extremely well equipped. There were added extras that were very welcome and very unexpected. It is decorated to a very pleasant style. There are limited amenities in the village of Ystbty Ifan with a village store that is only open on a Thursday, but 6 miles down the road is the very vibrant village of Betws-y-Coed with plenty of pubs, restaurants, 2 small supermarkets and plenty of gift shops. The cottage is a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful countryside of Snowdonia and is 30 minutes away from Llandudno and the coast of North Wales. We explored many places like Crafnant Lake, Swallow Falls, Conwy Falls, The Fairy Glen all of which offer walking and beautiful scenery. There is plenty of activity in North Wales and even with a teenager (that fully appreciated the wifi within the cottage) there is plenty to keep them amused. We can also definitely recommend an evening curry at the award winning Ty Asha Balti House in the nearby village of Llanwrst about a 20 minute drive from the cottage. If there was a tiny little niggle the property description states use of a BBQ but we couldn't fine one and with the lovely weather it would have been a nice option to cook on."

"We had a fabulous week in this cottage, Full of character and charm. Clean tidy cosy, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area is absolutely excuisite,as is Wales and Snowdonia off course. The cottage is in a good position to access the Main roads, so we were able to see much off North Wales on our stay. We did'nt meet the lady owner, but spoke to her. A very charming lady indeed. We hope to get back there one day. It was only one week but we felt rested and refreshed away from the rat race of the city."

"My family and I stayed in this beautiful cottage fo a week in August. First impressions were great. The cottage is located in a sleepy little village and looks every bit the idyllic Welsh cottage. Being end of terrace we were able to park right next to the cottage with easy access into the rear courtyard and cottage. The house was clean and tidy. Very well stocked kitchen with all the utensils and crockery you would need. There were plenty of cleaning products, iron and board. The bedding was high quality and complimentary 'smellies' in the bathroom. The lounge was well equipped with tv, DVD player and iPod docking station. There were even DVDs, CDs, and books to use! Although the cottage sleeps 3 people, the owners put an additional mattress in the second bedroom. There was enough space for both my daughters (aged 8 and 9 years) to sleep comfortably in the same room. The master bedroom was very spacious with a romantic feel. We utilised the courtyard, sitting in the sun, but can imagine the cottage feeling really warm and cosy in the winter. The cottage is located centrally to local towns ( e.g. Betws y coed) and attractions with a wide variety of activities for all to enjoy. Although there are no local amenities within the village, it is only a short drive to find a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning a return visit next year."
