Glan Nug

Rated 4/50 by on 1st July 2015

"I came here with a group of 8 adults, 2 kids and a dog. There are three floors - on the bottom is a well laid out kitchen, large dining table and small sitting area - this was ideal for us as people made food and still all relaxed together. Next to this was the main sitting area - nice furniture, and good for our group. Comfortably really it fit 6/7 on the sofa but this was fine for us. On the first floor are three bedrooms and the main bathroom. Two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, the third is a double. On the second is two good sized twin rooms - one has beds that can be put together to make a double, the other room is definitely a twin - the beds are opposite each other - but still good for groups. The garden has a nice little patio type area, which overlooks a stream/brook - this was lovely on an evening. There is loads of parking, we had 5 cars and they fit easily. Nearby is a pub that serves food - a really short walk you can see it from the property (I've already reviewied this - was a lovely pub). Overall I would highly recommend this and would be happy to go back. The location is quite secluded but in easy travelling distance of loads of places to visit in Wales. The only small criticism would be that the freezer is quite small, but it was fine for us - we didn't use it that much, however if we'd stayed longer we would probably have wanted to use it for food rather than eating out so much - but it is a tiny thing in what was an amazing property and a great break."
