This is a very well presented detached cottage situated on a hillside on the magical Isle of Skye, 12 miles from Portree and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric coal-effect fire. Entrance porch/utility.

This all ground floor cottage has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a bathroom, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a coal-effect electric fire and an entrance porch/utility. Outside there is ample off road parking and a patio to the front with furniture. Tigh na Creag is a delightful setting for your holiday in Scotland. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Front patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 12 miles, hotel with pub and restaurant 1 mile. Coast 3 mins walk.

The charming town of Portree, set around its natural harbour on the ruggedly beautiful Isle of Skye, boasts a wide range of shops, hotels and restaurants amongst its winding streets. This quiet, tranquil town offers a large variety of cultural attractions too. The Aros Centre, with its programme of concerts, theatre and cinema is well worth visiting and sports enthusiasts will be well catered for by the wealth of sea kayaking, rock-climbing and a good choice of well-marked walks across the island. The spectacular rock formations of Trotternish Ridge stretch for miles along the thirty-one kilometres of continuous cliffs, showing widely diverse pinnacles and forms. With the imposing Dunvegan castle, and the Talisker Distillery Visitor Centre, there's something for everyone to see on this very special island.

"My friend and I stayed in Tigh-Na-Creag in May 2016 for 1 week. We chose this place as it was quite central between Broadford and Portree and we wanted to explore the Isle of Skye. We arrived to the property and had a visit from the owner who was very pleasant and told us a few things about the property and the area. The house had everything we could need and the kitchen was very well equipped for self catering. The only one thing I would suggest updating would be the sofa/chairs in the living room as they are a little dated and could be more comfortable especially after a long day out and about. Also to make the second bedroom more usable for couples there could be a zip and link/twin bed option. Overall though it was a fab place to stay and had a lovely view out of the picture window in the living room. Highly recommended and I would book again."
"Great location, great view,very spacious, clean, modern interior. Very nice hosts. The living furniture could stand updating but that is the only negative thing to say about the place. We would definitely choose this spot again ."
"Perfectly positioned for visiting any part of the Isle of Skye. My husband and I stayed here with another couple and the cottage was ideal. Inside was more spacious than we expected. The open plan living/dining/kitchen space was great for socialising. The cottage appears to be have been built fairly recently with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The views from the living room are amazing - across the water to the mountains. The only negatives for us were the lack of garden (although the scenery makes up for this) and the main bathroom not having a shower so we all had to share the one in the en-suite. Otherwise it was wonderful."
