"Had a week at this cottage ,lovely location but there were a few minus points. The kitchen was not very well equipped no grater no whisk no casserole dishes or anything to cook a cottage pie in ect. The cottage had a very strong smell of damp especially in the bunk bed room . The furniture is a bit tired and worn. Its a big shame that the trees and shrubs have not been pruned as they now block all sea views which would be lovely . Unfortunately the gas ran out and we had to sort it ourselves as there were no contact numbers and the owner had gone away for a few days , it was lucky we had a adjustable spanner."

"Spent a week in this delightful cottage just before Easter. We travelled with an 8 year old and 2 dogs and ALL had the most fantastic time. The cottage itself is perfectly equipped with everything you need. Bunk beds and bathroom downstairs. Attic bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Comfy beds, lots of got water, couldn't wish for anything else. Lounge comfy with books, TV, wifi and most of all stunning views from decking . Many an hour was spent on the beach at Pothtowan, literally 2 minutes walk away. We were very lucky to go week before Easter as from Easter onwards, dogs not allowed on beach which is very unfortunate as it ideal for dogs to run. Rock pooling fantastic for kids. Enjoyed many a wonderful meal in the blue-bar. Very chilled out. Not much else to do in the village but there is a shop and chippy. But honestly you don't need anything with that beach. Must places to visit include St Agnes for another perfect little beach is just 10 mins drive. Perranporth has an amazing sandy beach and trendy bar on beach. Food there wonderful. Wow we loved it. But best of all was our trips to St Ives. We parked at Leylant Saltings (this was recommended by wonderful owners), caught train into St Ives and stopped off at Carbis Bay. Words cannot say how beautiful this place is. Like being in the Med. Gorgeous. St Ives great fun, lots of shopping and ice cream. All in all, cottage is perfect, wonderful, friendly owner next door, position within Cornwall perfect for many an enjoyable day. Wish I was there now"

"Lovely cottage, very useful washing machine in the kitchen. Perfect location 10 minute if that walk to the beach which is quite rocky but leads to sand the closer you get to the sea. Very handy pub at the bottom of the hill with a little cinema room for wet days. Steps leading up to the cottage would not be suitable for people who have mobility issues. It's a shame that the trees surrounding the decking out the front obscure the view of the sea. Over all I would recommend this cottage you could quite easily stay in the local area go to the beach every day walk along the cliff tops, leave your car in the little parking space and chill, surf and enjoy the pub"
