Newborough on Anglesey occupies a good position on the edge of forest and dunes, on the south west corner of Anglesey. Newborough has a shop and a pub, and is close to Llanddwyn Bay, with its famously fine beach. There is a protected Nature Reserve to the back of the beach, home to a whole host of wildlife. The rest of Anglesey's attractions, including the Sea Zoo, model village and more, are within easy reach, as are the mountains of Snowdonia and the coast and castles of the Lleyn Peninsula.

"Booked Tyn y Parc as a birthday surprise for my husband to have his grandchildren & great granddaughter with him. Spacious well equipped home with great enclosed garden for the dog. Excellent information sheet + parking pass for the Warren extremely helpful. David couldn't be more helpful especially as we had a problem with keys locked in one of the cars which delayed our departure. This was sorted by the garage across the way and we were able to be on our way, sadly! Hoping to return soon"

"Lovely well equipped cottage we have been here several times it is well equipped in the kitchen and it is really roomy so there is no cramping all rooms good size and even a seperate room with TV for children. Always cleaned to a high standard very friendly owner as well. The cottage is very well placed to either tour the Island or go for lovely walks round the area. Newborough Forest is fantastic you can walk through to the lovely beach. You will not be disappointed if you hire this cottage."

"Tyn y Parc provided a great accommodation for our extended family ranging in age from 6-75 years. The house is extremely spacious and set in a peaceful location. The children spent a lot of time in the large enclosed garden whilst the adults enjoyed the comfort of the conservatory. There is an amply equipped kitchen and the 3 bathrooms are also well fitted. We found the house to be very clean and a perfect base from which to explore Anglesey."

"We had a fabulous holiday staying at Tyn y Parc. The owner Dave could not do enough for us to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There were 7 adults, 2 babies and dogs and the house was suitable for all, from a 12 week baby to an 85 year old. The garden is also secure for dogs. Thanks for such a memorable first family holiday, we will be back!"

"Fantastic communication and information once we had booked. Directions to the cottage were excellent. The cottage was clean and really well equipped. Lots of utensils and cutlery all clean and kept very tidy. A lovely warm welcome from David, the owner. Very helpful with plenty of advice on places to go. Lots of space for 8 adults. Bathrooms all modern and very clean. Excellent wifi. Nice conservatory. Spacious garden with plenty of birds visiting the bird feeders. Very well located for the places we wanted to visit. Trearddur Bay, Newborough Forest, Rhosneigr, RAF Valley, Beaumaris, Caernarfon etc. We all really enjoyed the whole experience, no problems at all."

"Had a lovely stay at Tyn Y Parc with the family. Plenty of room for the seven of us, and a large dog, who could wander in the fully enclosed garden. All the facilities were to hand, including Wi Fi, which can be hard to get in some cottages ion Anglesey. The grandchildren also loved the garden and the large conservatory, which was also nice for the adults to relax in. David, the owner was most helpful, and even provided us a with a pass key for free parking at the beach, which must be one of the best on the island. All in all, a lovely time was had by all and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for first class accommodation at a reasonable price."

"Have just spent a lovely week on Anglesey based at Tyn Y Parc-a bright modern comfortable home from home! David the owner was most welcoming even going out to find two of our friends who had got lost the night we arrived. He couldn't do enough for us and we would have no hesitation in recommending TynT Parc to friends or of staying there again next time we visit Anglesey."

"The cottage itself was excellent (really 4.5/5), with plenty of space to spread out and great views over Snowdonia. In particular, the conservatory was a lovely place to end the day. There is a huge garden which both our children and our dog enjoyed. The cottage was extremely clean throughout. We received an email just before arrival saying that WiFi has been added to the cottage and this proved very useful for researching opening times/directions/Minecraft etc. The cottage is next to a road, but we didn't find any issues with noise and there are boundaries all round the property, so it is safe for children and pets. Our only suggested improvement (and the reason for 4/5 review) would be to update the plates/mugs/glasses as the current set feels a bit 'hotch potch'. The owners were very attentive, meeting us on both arrival and departure and checking we had everything we needed. The local area has a great range of things to do. A large Blue Flag beach is a few minutes' drive away with sand dunes, good sand and a beautiful walk to a tidal island. Within 30-40 minutes there are lots of train rides, gardens, boat trips and walking in Snowdonia."

"VERY clean, well equiped - every appliance and kitchen utensil you can think of. Large rooms - well laid out with great bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en suite) Large dog and children friendly gardens Easy to find, close to towns and the superb Newborough forest/beach area. Road noise - only if you are outside and it isn't a busy road anyway (didn't bother us at all). The owner, David, is very attentive - a nice touch ! We hope to return soon"

"Tyn y Parc is very easy to find as it is on the main road to (and only about a mile away from) Newborough. There is a nice big garden, fully enclosed with lots of lawn so if you bring a well behaved dog you could confidently let it out for a run about (and the children!) . We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio in the sunshine but the conservatory would be fabulous for this if the weather was slightly cooler. The bedrooms are all really nicely appointed, bed linen and towels etc of very nice quality. Two bedrooms have en-suite and there is another big bathroom with a great shower and bath. The kitchen is big, with room for 8 round the table and the huge lounge has a massive TV with freeview and a DVD player. There is also another TV in the other lounge if you can't agree with the kids what to watch! Tyn Y Parc is really well positioned for Newborough Forest and beach which is brilliant for familes (walking and biking) and anyone else wishing to enjoy the superb outdoors here from biking to swimming in beautiful Newborough Bay and it's very close to Rhosnieger for surfing too. Waitrose near the Menai bridge is not far away and we also found a lovely restaurant (Dylans) on the waterfront in Menai Bridge. David (the owner) was really friendly and helpful on the phone with arrangements before and after our visit, provided milk and a Bara Brith for our arrival and popped in to make sure we had found everything. Highly recommended, hope to return next year!"

"We stayed here for seven days in August 2014. Our group consisted of myself, sister, my daughter and my elderly Mother. We were looking for accomodation where we could each have a room, one being on the ground floor for my Mum with adjoining toliet and sink. Also needed to accept a small dog. All our holiday needs were met and mum was delighted at absolutly no steps. Nice modern bathrooms and the whole house was clean with enough equipment to self cater if it had reached its capacity. Large garden for enjoying the outdoors with plenty of walks nearby. The property is close enough to everywhere on Anglesey for visiting places of interest, beaches and shops. There was a small shop at the local petrol station 100yards up the road for emergency supplies (including petrol!) trading local shop hours. The only small down side was the nearness to the main road, as mentioned in the holiday brochure, although this posed no problem or inconvenience as the traffic generally was quiet at night. In all, good comfortable accomodation and we will be booking again."
