"What a lovely cottage in a lovely spot. All North Wales to explore but Criccieth on your doorstep, why go anywhere else? The cottage is so beautiful with original 'grain store' features retained, but still has all the modern facilities you could want. The owners are so welcoming and provide loads of things I took, like tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc etc. Thanks Mr and Mrs Widdicombe for a great week."

"This cottage has everything you could possibly need. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 3 nights but are already planning going back for a week next summer. It was our first visit to Wales and it definitely wont be our last."

"We stayed here with our two young children for a week in June. The cottage is a lovingly converted farm outbuilding that has plenty of character, a homely feel and is very well maintained. The garden was perfect for our toddlers to run off steam and we enjoyed a BBQ and meals outside on the decking. Location-wize it was an ideal base being close to Criccieth and c. 30 mins from Caernarfon, Abersoch and Harlech. Tthe owner was friendly and hospitable to us. There is a pub about a mile away in Chwilog that has a beer garden and a great play area for kids, the nearby Rabbit Farm is also a must visit. We had a great week."

"This cottage is situated on a farm in a rural setting so its lovely and peaceful. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and obliging, ready to answer all our queries regarding places of interest and places to eat. The views from the bedrooms across the bay to Snowdonia are stunning. We would certainly love to return."

"Absolutely loved the stay. The Cottage is right in the heart of nature with views of mountains on one side and views of sea on the other. Mr & Mrs Widdicombe are great hosts as they were kind enough to be awake till 1 am to welcome us. The cottage is about 20 mins driving distance from all the nearest attractions. The rooms are spacious and designed to a very good taste. We would definitely like to stay there when we visit snowdonia next."

"I struggle to find any faults with the accommodation, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you would need. A welcoming supply of the basics - milk, bread, coffee, tea , sugar, orange juice, even a bottle of wine.Towels, bed linen, tv's in lounge and all bedrooms. Very quiet but close enough to all the popular attractions to make it an idea base for exploring. Highly recommended"

"The accomodation was absolutely perfect, finished to a very high quality. The welcome pack was exceptional and the owners were a really lovely couple who couldn't have been nicer. There love of the cottage was evident. It was an excellent base for everywhere and everything we wanted to do - Abersoch, Harlech, Anglesey amongst a few. Criccieth itself is a lovely little town as well, with a beautiful castle (Ken Barlow was there - goes all the time), quiet beach / tea-shops and restaurants."
