This is a second floor apartment in the town of Ambleside in Cumbria, it can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All second floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size (zip/link can be twin on request), 1 x king-size double. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast table. Living room with dining area with a woodburning stove.

Given its excellent position at the northern tip of Lake Windermere - England's largest lake - Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes. The town itself is famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th Century Bridge House - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District.

"Very convenient location however could do with a lick of paint and a bigger fridge. Noisy at front of flat where the most comfortable mattress is. Kitchen window doesn't stay open. Ceilings of property look a bit precarious especially when you hear the heavy footed people above. A little tlc would make this a perfect place."
