Three bedrooms: 2 x super king-size double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with gas living-flame fire.

Outside there is off road parking for one car and ample roadside parking. The Rowans is a fantastic base, in a wonderful, central location and is ideal for a family holiday. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car, ample street parking available. Bike storage available in garage next to hallway. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk.

Set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay is the charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands, benefiting from one of the mildest climates in the north of England. Formerly a small fishing village, the fashionable Edwardian resort developed following the introduction of the Furness Railway. Today, the town continues as a popular holiday destination and has much to offer the modern visitor, including a traffic-free promenade, stunning ornamental gardens, numerous golf courses, brass band concerts and excellent birdwatching. Lake Windermere is just a short drive away, as are the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead, which still retain their charm and character. With stunning scenery and lots to see and do in the local area, this region is a great place for a holiday with friends or family.
