Ash Cottage is a superb semi-detached cottage in the centre of the Derbyshire village of Baslow. the cottage sleeps two people and has a king-size double bedroom, a bathroom with a freestanding bath and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a log-effect electric stove. Outside is roadside parking, a front cottage garden and a rear courtyard with outdoor furniture. Just a short walk from Chatsworth House and close to Bakewell and Buxton, Ash Cottage makes a wonderful retreat for a couple looking to discover the delights of the Peak District National Park. Shops, pubs and restaurants 5 mins min walk. Small village shop 2 mins walk. Note: stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility

The picturesque village of Baslow is situated at the North end of Chatsworth House and the village has some unusual and striking features, not least, a river bridge that has three arches and is guarded by a toll house with diminutive measurements of only three and a half feet high. The village has a range of shops, restaurants and pubs and is only five miles from Bakewell, which has a further range of amenities and attractions.
