As part of a former sixteenth century barn, Stable End offers great period character accommodation with all the facilities that are expected of a modern building. This beautiful property is situated on a five hundred acre working livestock farm in the scattered hamlet of Luntley. Downstairs, the open plan living-area offers cosy accommodation with a modern fitted kitchen, sitting area, dining area and French windows to garden – a great place to enjoy some alfresco dining. Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Situated in the rolling hills of North Herefordshire, between Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye, in the heart of the Welsh Marches, lies the tiny rural hamlet of Luntley – a charming, tranquil location. A mere two miles from Luntley is the medieval village of Pembridge – renowned as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the famous "Black & White Village Trail". With three traditional country pubs, a market hall and unusual church – with a detached tower dating back to the fourteenth century, as well as a whole host of half-timbered houses, this lovely village is sure to please any history enthusiasts or those interested in architecture. The surrounding countryside also offers a wealth of activities, including walking, cycling, riding and fishing. With so much to do in the near vicinity, it's unlikely you'll even need to take a trip to nearby Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, medieval Ludlow and the impressive Shropshire Hills.

"We (2 families with kids of 10, 5 & 2) stayed here for a week. The barn is very pretty, it was clean with hot, powerful showers and comfy beds. The central heating was very responsive and kept us nice and cosy. There is plenty of safe, outdoor space for the children to play. The barn had lovely views across the sheep fields and was a very calm, quiet place to relax in. Herefordshire was a revelation to us, what a beautiful, unspoilt county (we live in rural Oxfordshire). "
"We stayed in Stable End as we were in Hereford for a wedding. Six adults and there was plenty of room. The linens and towels were excellent quality and the kitchen was well equipped. We had family staying in another of the barns and we were able to gather together at the front where there is a large patio set. Each barn also has its own patio furniture in its own garden and then there is an enclosed field for all the barns to use. This was brilliant for family games night, knowing that the children were safe. I would highly recommend Luntly Court Farm as we could not have wished for a better venue for our weekend. The owners are on site and very helpful."
