This elegant cottage, dog friendly cottage is in a peaceful location and sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms Ground Floor: Kitchen/Diner. Utility Room with WC. Lounge. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin. Bedroom 2 with twin beds and en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and washbasin.
One mile from the picturesque village of Stokeinteignhead in peaceful leafy lanes is Stable End. The cottage, originally an agricultural stable dating back to 1850 has been beautifully converted into a stylish holiday home. Bright, spacious and filled with thoughtful touches, on the ground floor you'll find a cosy living room with wood burning stove and handsome beamed ceilings. There is a smart country style kitchen/diner and utility room with all mod cons. On the first floor are two very pretty bedrooms, a double with an en-suite bathroom, which looks out over the nearby babbling brook and a twin bedded room with en-suite shower room. To the front of the cottage is a sunny, enclosed garden with private parking. Here you can while away the warm summer evenings surrounded by the gentle sounds of the surrounding countryside. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
