"When we arrived at the cottage we were met by Carol,( and her lovely collie 'Cady'), who showed us in, and explained where things were and how everything worked. It was a beautiful cottage.Tastefully furnished and decorated all through, and very spacious and clean. The garden area was enclosed, which was wonderful for our dog, as she spent most of her days (in between excursions), lying in the sun. We also met Carol's husband Steve, who invited us to meet his lovely animals, and chickens, who supplied eggs that could be purchased. We could not fault the cottage, or the area, as we absolutely loved the peace and quiet with no main roads, just the sounds of the countryside.....absolute bliss! Through the week, (although not intrusive at all) we found Carol and Steve to be wonderful hosts, and so kind and helpful, even drawing us maps explaining how to get to different places. We would rate this holiday very highly...one of the best, and hope to return again very soon. Thank you so much Carol and Steve."

"This fairly modern cottage is attached to the owners home. There is a separated garden area with picnic table. A small courtyard immediately to the rear of the house provides opportunity for barbecues (weather permitting). On the ground floor is a fairly large lounge, with leather three-piece suite and flat screen TV with Freeview channels. Separated from the lounge is a kitchen/diner, well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave oven and washing machine. Ample work spaces and a four seater table complete the equipment. It is not unknown for us to wash all crockery and cutlery before use but clearly the owners have high standards and I suspect everything went through their own dishwasher between guests. Off the kitchen is an enclosed staircase to the only bedroom upstairs, which has a double and single bed. A "walk-in" style wardrobe gives plenty of room for clothing and suitcases etc. Off the bedroom is a very modern shower-room, with a spacious shower enclosure. Upstairs is the only caution we would mention for two features. It is a dormer style bedroom, with low ceilings, velux window and dormer window. You may not have a problem but there was more than one occasion when we banged our heads! Not seriously, but we joked that cycle helmets would come in handy! The other mention is actually a very minor thing, the floor slopes towards the staircase as it lands at the first floor and that can be a little disconcerting when starting to descend. You do get used to it though. All in all, this was a beautifully presented cottage in a particularly quiet part of the peninsula. You definitely need your own transport, whilst the local lanes are very quiet and suitable for dog walking, the village of Sarn is around 1 mile away and offers just a small general store and a couple of pubs (not used by us). Larger shops can be found in Abersoch and the nearest supermarket (ASDA) in Pwllheli."

"Amazing location, truly breath taking. As wildlife enthusiasts we couldn't of wished for a better setting. Owners were very helpful and went out their way to insure we saw all we could as far as coast line and scenic areas go. The House itself was lovely, very clean, comfortable and spacious and we was made to feel very welcome in their home. We were very lucky with the weather which enabled us to make the most of the owners lovely garden and animals. On a couple of occasions the owners joined us for an evening walk with their two dogs. Their dogs and our dog got on really well which added to our overall enjoyment. They took us to places we never would of found by ourselves even with a sat nav. We was so grateful for all they done for us, and they helped made our amazing week, incredible! We will be returning!"

"Relaxing, very comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation, beautiful gardens and owners very attentive to our needs. A good central location for visiting surrounding area i.e., Aberdaron -which we know and love - Abersoch, Portmadoc etc., We loved our stay but the only very small criticism (if we can call it such) was the BBQ facilities - possibly a more open and relaxing area in a tiny part of the garden would have been nice ! Very closed in, outside the back door! Fortunately we did'nt need that facility as the weather was not warm enough!! Otherwise we had a lovely holiday and look forward to returning in the future !!"

"Cottage was well planned out, comfortable, warm and good facilities. The owners were welcoming . The location was very rural which suited us, but did mean you had to travel on narrow lanes to get to places of interest on the Lleyn Peninsula. The cottage had that nice homely feel to it."

"It took only five minutes to drive to many beautiful beaches, shops, steam engine railways and supermarkets! Yet you were also surrounded by peaceful and rural settings in all directions. Very close to Anglesey, Caernafon castle too which the kids loved! The owners could not be more kind and helpful and my children declared them "their best friends" by the end of the week. Only place we have ever taken our eldest where he was desperate to stay instead of his usual desperate to go home to his computer!! Definately go back."
