"My Son actually found this cottage on the internet. It comprised of 4 double bedrooms, and an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The welcome pack was the best yet! Bread, butter, milk, tea bags, biscuits and 2 bottles of wine chilling in the wine cooler. The cottage was extremely clean and looked as if it was fairly new. Surprising to find that it had been made into cottages in 2007/8. There were 6 adults and 3 children under 5 with plenty of space for all. Outside was a large garden where the children could play safely and have a good run around. A box containing balls, tennis rackets, badminton rackets and swingball were free to use. Also a modern bbq for use if needed. If there was a downside it was the crows pecking at the windows at 4am and 6am. Please do not let it put you off as the owner was in the process of putting fine meshing over the windows which should stop them. We would have no issue at all in recommending this cottage to all."

"Just back from a weeks` stay at this cottage. Perfect hosts and top class accommodation. Harlech castle on one side and the mountains of Snowdonia on the other. Close to Porthmadog, Criccieth etc. This is a `must` place to stay."

"Having had a fair number of dissapiontments regarding holiday rentals in the past, our stay at Glasfryn Barn has restored our belief that there are still some excellent rental properties out there. What sets Glasfryn apart are the owners. Peter and Lorraine have poured there heart and sole into this property. It is so well looked after, spotlessly clean. They provide a welcome pack that includes all the basics but also little extras such as a bag of ice in the freezer, drinking straws for the little ones, hand soap on all sinks, rubbish bags etc, etc. Even their bins are spotless, I have never seen a recycling set up like it!! Glasfryn is very well located, being so close to Harlech. There is so much to do around the area. Well done Peter and Lorraine and thanks again for providing our family of 10 with an excellent week away in Wales."

"Three generations of us stayed and it was perfect for us all. Great lounge area for us all to relax in. Clean, well knitted kitchen - a delight to cook in. A huge dining table for us all to eat/drink/play games around. Clean, cosy bedrooms with lovely bathrooms. Great outdoor area for games or just mooching. Plenty of parking space and lovely views. The owners are right next door and could not have done more."

"This is a truly fantastic place to stay. Attention to every small detail, immaculately clean and brilliantly equipped. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children under 5 and the spacious open plan downstairs layout was perfect for everyone to enjoy each other's company and allow the children the freedom to play.. The large lawned garden is also a perfect place for children to play in absolute safety and for the adults to enjoy a drink and a BBQ. As per previous reviews there is no wifi and phone signal is iffy which might not suit everyone, and means you can't rely on them to do any on-line searches or manage e mails. Glasfryn Barn is near perfection and I would recommend it without hesitation."

"As regular renters of holiday properties for many, many years, we have stayed in numerous cottages and locations - this is unquestionably the most immaculate cottage we have ever stayed in. Spotless throughout, and a very warm welcome from the owners. The attention to every detail was just wonderful. Lots of space, beautiful location and great for you and old. Highly recommended !!"

"Outstanding accommodation, everything one needs plus more! Spotlessly clean, extremely spacious with a lovely garden in which we enjoyed many activities with our grandchildren. Highly recommended, but beware that the area has a very erratic mobile signal and no wifi, but then it is a holiday so away from the hustle and bustle made it even more attractive."

"Our second time staying in this most excellent cottage. We are made so well at home that my Grandchildren think it's ours and it is where we all go on holiday together. Well positioned for town, country and the beach. Each time we have been the cottage is cleaned to the highest standard and all that comes with it. Our sincere thanks to the owners."

"Luxury barn conversion, beautiful and equipped to a very high standard. It has to be the best holiday home we have rented. It had everything we wanted, all mod cons plus loads of Dvds, games (indoor and outdoor), always full bird feeders(!), secure safe garden for kids. The owners were friendly, and very helpful. Very peaceful location, but near to beaches, castles, Portmerion, and Snowdon. Would very happily go back, couldn't fault it."
