Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Z-bed, cot and highchair on request. Roadside parking with car park across the road. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

The small town of Gatehouse of Fleet is situated on the Solway Firth in Dumfries and Galloway. The town offers several shops including a small supermarket, chemist, bank and post office, along with two book/gift shops, a kilt making centre and two cafes. All four pubs in the town have restaurant facilities.

"We would strongly recommend the old brewery store, lovely and clean quirky because the living room and kitchen are upstairs and the bedroom and bathroom are downstairs! Spacious accommodation and everything you need to have a wonderful holiday A bottle of wine, milk and shortbread biscuits, which was very nice gesture, on arrival. "This is an excellent property, very well equipped and immaculately clean. We were met by the owner who was extremely friendly & helpful. We very much appreciated the wine, fruit & milk which was waiting for us. Gatehouse is a small, friendly village with excellent facilities including a good choice of places to eat (most of which we can personally recommend!). It is ideally situated for exploring the whole of Dumfries & Galloway, an area that we thoroughly enjoyed."

Although very small, Gatehouse of Fleet is quite a busy little place and in a beautiful setting. It is ideal for exploring the stunning countryside and coast around this part of Scotland."
