Hillrise Cottage is a 17th century semi-detached cottage in the Lake District village of Flookburgh, two miles from Cartmel. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of two double and two twin bedrooms, as well as a bathroom and ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast bar, utility, dining room and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for three cars and a front patio area with barbecue. Hillrise Cottage is an ideal base for families who wish to explore the Lake District National Park, the village of Cartmel and many tourist attractions close by. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

The historic village of Flookburgh is situated near the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the Lake District. The village offers two pubs, a grocery, a chemist, butchers, a Post Office and two food outlets.
