"We stayed at Quayside House as a party of 9, ages ranging from 4 months to 70 years old. Everyone had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the facilities you could need (the games room was a huge hit!). There was plenty of space for everyone and the location was absolutely fantastic - a stones throw to the beach and a short walk into town! Just brilliant! The owners were extremely helpful and the welcome pack and birthday decoration were a wonderful bonus! We would definitely recommend this property!"

"This is the best place you will find in Scarborough if you are a large family or group and looking for a central base for your holidays. The house is immaculate, the furniture is gorgeous and the decor is wonderfully in keeping with its location, just off the foreshore. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay! There is car parking for 1 car outside and a great view of the castle behind you!"

"This is the perfect holiday home, has every comfort you could wish for. The house is imaculate and decorated beautifully throughout! The location is amazing-the beach is on the doorstep. We all loved our holiday, could not fault one little bit! Yvonne and Mike you have a gorgeous house and we will definitely be coming back, well done, 6 very happy holiday makers here! thankyou! (And the welcome box was much appricated too, all the tasty goodies in it) "

"We visited at Easter and were greeted on arrival by a hamper full of goodies and even Easter eggs for the children. We stayed with extended family - four adults and four children and the house was large enough for us all to have plenty of room without getting in each other's way! The house was very clean and decorated with a seaside theme with attention to every little detail, it was lovely. The kitchen had every bit of equipment you could ever wish for! The location was good, being able to walk into town and to the beach and we had parking for one car and permit for the other car so that was very helpful too. The only thing I would highlight - not as a negative but just as a watch out is that the stairs are extremely steep so worth noting for very small children. No complaints at all and such an attentive owner who really thought about her guests. Highly recommended."

"This house is amazing! I wish it was mine. Eight of us have spent a week here and we were all amazed by this place when we arrived. You can see how much work has gone into the house and all the little touches make it feel really homely, it is decorated beautifully and has everything you could need. There is bags of space for a large family to relax and the kids loved the games room. You can see the harbour from the front window so it could hardly be closer to the sea front, shops, bars and restaurants. We're all really glad we picked Quayside House for our holiday and will definitely be back. Thank you."

"Amazing house in a perfect location. The house was decorated beautifully in a seaside theme. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. As it was Easter on arrival we were greeted with an Easter themed food hamper also with essentials (tea bags & sugar) and for the children wrapped Easter eggs. We even had Easter bunting! The kitchen was as well equipped if not better than my kitchen at home. The beds were lovely and comfortable. We went as two families so had two cars, parking arrangements were very good, room for one car directly outside the house and then we were provided with permits for the whole of our stay for another car in the street. Couldn't fault anything about the house, our stay or the wonderful owners. We would definitely return. "

"Great accommodation, very clean and modern but with some fantastic quirky period furniture. (working gramophone)master bedroom/on suite was very spacious. Cooking/heating/showers all easy to work and very efficient. Close proximity to police station made it particularly good for having the scooters parked and feeling safe. Plenty of local shops and pubs but only a few minutes walk from the city centre and prom area. Top floor bedrooms might not be suitable for older or less mobile guests. Overall a very nice property at a very good price"

"We stayed at this house for a week in july ..there were 7 of us and i must say it's one of the best holidays i've ever had...the house is so spacious and very tastefully decorated with no expense spared. it was a joy to come home to every night after busy day out..it was so nice that i actually enjoyed staying in. I loved every foom and the kitchen was so big and was a great social space for us with the big table. It is a stones throw away from the seafront, yet hidden enough for privacy and peace and quiet. too handy for the local chip shop at the end of the road though! Yvonne who owns the house was very friendly and very helpful ."

"We loved everything about our holiday in Scarborough, but the house was the 'icing on the cake' the quality of the decor and furnishings were of second to none and it was spotlessly clean. The owner Yvonne was there to greet us on arrival and she was very friendly and helpful. The house is in a very quiet street but only one street away from the seafront, so we had the best of both worlds. The rooms are very spacious and light with a very well organised kitchen/diner which is really big ..we will definately be returning to this beautiful house."

"We had a great stay here - we arrived by train (the station was about a 15 minute walk). We were greeted by the owner, Yvonne, who seemed keen to ensure we knew how to work everything before she left, and she made it clear she was available if there were any problems - of which there were none. The house was spotlessly clean, well furnished and comfortable. Plenty of towels etc. provided. Bearing in mind how cold it was outside, the cottage was lovely and warm inside. I would like to have stayed here in the summer, the rear courtyard would I imagine be lovely to sit out on during hot summers evening after a day walking the Cleveland Way... Great location for the seafront and the town centre, there are several food shops within a short walk (including Nisa, M&S;, Heron, Morrisons) and some good restaurants too (Eastern Paradise, Hickory's, Tricolos). I would recommend this Holiday accommodation without hesitation."

"This house is absolutely stunning, with everything you could possibly need and more. It has been beautifully renovated and the rooms are tastefully decorated, light, clean and spacious. The children loved the playroom , and we loved it too as it meant we could sit and chat in the lounge in peace while they had their very own space. The kitchen is well equipped and the small courtyard garden is very sweet and an ideal area for dining out on sunny days. We were greeted by the owners and found a lovely hamper waiting for us with tea , coffee and easter gifts for the children. The owners are very welcoming and thoughtful and called before we arrived to ask if we needed anything , we were then left in peace to enjoy our stay. The location of the house is ideal , with the Castle, Harbour, North and South bay attractions all on our doorstep. Other places we visited were Eden Camp, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, the Sea Life centre and The Deep in Hull. As a group of four mums and our children splitting the cost meant we could have an affordable holiday in a stunning accommodation. Will be recommending this outstanding house to all my friends."

"We were met at the door by Yvonne the owner, having previously spoken on the phone. Showing us around the property, she wasn't pushy or anything like that, but just very friendly and proud of the home she had created from a run down property. This home was ideally situated, literally a few steps from the inner harbour of Scarborough, and close enough to the town centre and shops up the hill, or you could take the elevator on the cliff side. Close enough to go out of the door, few steps forward, turn right, and you are on the front, amongst the hustle and bustle of this busy resort, but quiet enough not to be a nuisance. The property, recently on the hire market, has everything you would need, from a modern well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable living and sleeping rooms, with two bathrooms and great powerful showers, bliss! The only criticism I would have is the courtyard garden is a little enclosed, and at the time of year when we occupied it, September, there was little evidence of sun, but hey, we are in Britain!! We would have no hesitation in booking again, and would recommend it to any family."

"Fantastic house - beautifully decorated and stylish. Convenient for beach, theatres and shops. We will definitely return - hopefully next year. Owners were extremely helpful and welcoming - even took delivery of our on-line shopping.Good to have parking and outdoor area to sit and enjoy coffee or wine! Two teenagers were well-catered for (Flamingo Land, crabbing, Theatre) and we enjoyed a swing-band concert. One of the best holidays ever. Thank you."
