Property sleeps 6 people as a combination of children and adults due to bunk beds.
The Cottage is an end-terraced stone cottage in the North Yorkshire village of Ampleforth. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms -one double, 1 x 3/4 double and one room with bunks beds. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation is made up of a kitchen, dining room with French doors, a sitting room with woodburning stove and a small conservatory overlooking the garden. The garden is made up of tiered patio levels with furniture and a BBQ. Off road parking is available for one car. With the lovely countryside of the national park close by, and the east coast resorts within driving distance, The Cottage makes a good family base from which to explore both coast and country. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot on request. Off road parking for 1 small car, additional roadside parking outside property. Steps leading down to rear tiered patio gardens with furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3 mins walk. Note: Please note that this property is not suitable for 6 adults due to sleeping arrangements. Please note: There is no high chair available in this property.

Ampleforth is close to the North York Moors National Park, and is home to two pubs, a fish and chip shop and shop. Helmsley market town is 5 miles away and the National Park is close by offering great scenic walking and cycling. Within easy driving distance are Pickering and the East Coast resorts such as Scarborough.

"Family of 3. Stayed a long weekend in sunny May. Cottage has everything you need and more. The owners leave lots of things for you; cooking condiments, cleaning things, fuel for the fire, etc. So you really only need to bring the essentials. The cottage is clean and light. Good hot water and certainly hot enough with both central heating and a lovely fire. Off street parking. REALLY quiet! Which is kind of the point in going..... Communication with the owners excellent. Two lovely pubs in the village and a shop for the essentials. Plenty to offer in the area around. Would recommend "
"I am sitting in the living room of this perfect little cottage the heat from the wood burner is so cosy and warm Im looking through a tree to the hillside on the opposite side of the valley. Restful is the word! We have stayed a week revisiting pubs and places we used to go to when I was a child. The cottage has everything I need for a comfortable relaxing stay with my family and the dog. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans everything works well the rooms upstairs are as one would expect from a traditional yorkshire cottage query shapes and low beams gives one the total experience of living in this beautiful setting. oh and one final point the wifi is awesome!"
