Ty Twt is a cosy, romantic cottage in a countryside location, four miles from Lampeter, in Wales. With one double bedroom, it sleeps two people comfortably. The rest of the accommodation comprises a bathroom and open plan living area including a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is an enclosed garden area and access to woodland and lovely walks. With a woodburner, curved staircase and countryside on your doorstep, Ty Twt is a great holiday base. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, 2 x TVs with FreeSat, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi (can be intermittent due to property location), selection of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Additional fuel is available at additional cost and by prior arrangement with the owner or can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Covered bike storage. Enclosed rear lawned garden with furniture. One well-behaved medium/small sized dog (smaller than Labrador size) welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and Post Office 1.5 miles, pub 3 miles. Note: Sloping ceiling in bedroom. Note: Sloping ceiling in bathroom, maximum head height when stood in bath to use the shower is 175cm (5ft 8in). Note: The stairs are curved and narrower than a conventional staircase, with a width of 55cm, therefore they may not be suitable for the less mobile. Note: Max 2 adults. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am. Note: WiFi can be intermittent due to property location.

"This cottage was a joy! We took our two collies who also loved it. The grounds were totally enclosed and safe. Everything was provided for a great stay. The cottage was clean and cosy and so quiet. The lanes around are narrow, but everyone seems to be on their guard. There are passing places."
"If you want total peace, isolation and just the sound of the birds to wake you then this is the place for you. Wonderfully remote location down a narrow country lane this one bedroomed property was ideal for the two of us and our two dogs. There are two other properties on the site but these were both vacant on the week we stayed so our dogs had the run of the whole enclosed grounds. Small kitchen and living room on ground floor. Patio doors lead to an enclosed garden. Our dogs soon vaulted the 3ft gate so you may need to be on your guard if you have larger animals. Upstairs there is one bedroom (plenty big enough for us two) and bathroom with shower. Spotless throughout. Definite return on the cards"
"what more can I say, if you want peace and quiet, lots of wildlife and a perfect escape from the hum drum of work life this is the place. The cottage is perfectly proportioned with all mod cons and meets exactly with the description given. We will certainly be visiting again"
"We stayed in this lovely warm, snug, cottage for a few days earlier in the year. The peace and quiet was wonderful and watching the birds from the patio doors amazing. Had a great time and the dog really enjoyed the freedom of the grounds. Looking forward to a visit again this year."
"Very pretty cottage and setting, but really far too small even for us two and dog. Kitchen extremely tiny and not user-friendly as no space for anything...a really disappointing feature. Cottage in very isolated location, not a problem except lanes to it were barely wide enough for car with deep ruts either side...often had to back up for long distances to permit other vehicles to pass...this was highly dangerous after dark! 4x4's only !!!"
