Porthtowan is a little village settled in west Cornwall's beautiful coast, and is renowned for its Blue Flag beach, which at low tide exposes almost a mile and a half of fine, golden sands. Fringed by impressive cliffs, the beach is a popular surfing venue and is lifeguarded during the summer, making it ideal for families.
