Overview
This tastefully renovated cottage offers superb accommodation for up to four people throughout the year, set in a beautiful and tranquil town. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size, 1 x twin (no wardrobe available). Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor WC and basin. Fitted kitchen. Dining room with flame-effect gas stove. Cosy sitting room (comfortable seating for 3/4) with open fire.
Built from stone, this cottage retains many of its original features, such as a Victorian fireplace and exposed ceiling beams. Today, it offers sleeping accommodation for groups of up to four people, making it an idyllic retreat for a small party of friends or family. To the rear of the property is a well-maintained garden in which you can enjoy a drink or two as the sun sets in the summer months. There is even a small library of books and board games for cosy winter nights, snuggling around the fire. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Kirkbymoorside is an unmistakably Yorkshire town. The wealth of abbeys around Kirkbymoorside include Rosedale, Rievaulx, and Byland, all set in the charming North Yorkshire countryside and easily accessible by car.
