Great Somerford is a delightful village found in Somerset resting in the middle of two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs. Within the village there is a pub and a few shops where you can find the essentials, with part of the village resting on the River Avon. The larger town of Chippenham is not far and can provide a wider choice of shops, pubs and restaurants.
