Outside, there is parking on the driveway for two cars and a spacious, enclosed front garden with lawn and outdoor furniture. Prospect House is well-placed for discovering North Yorkshire and the city of York. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Bubwith is an ancient parish and village that is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Bubwith today boasts a selection of facilities which includes a lovely delicatessen. Close by is the fabulous city of York which teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, its medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums (including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience.
