Wattle Cottage is a lovely couple's retreat to the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Littered with rural villages, half-timbered buildings and heritage sites, with links to the neighbouring cities of Manchester and Liverpool, Cheshire offers picturesque landscape scenery in North West England.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking available. Two well-behaved pets allowed. Sorry, no smoking. Enclosed patio with seating and outbuilding with secure storage, table top freezer and dog bowls and towels. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.3 miles. Note: There is a set of steps with a handrail to access the property, care to be taken. Note: The internal stairs are narrow, care to be taken and may not be suitable for the less mobile

The lovely village of Malpas is located in the south Cheshire countryside. Home to a Norman Motte and Bailey castle, as well as a medieval street pattern, you will find ample shops, hotel and guest house accommodation, and scattered holiday cottages can be found tucked away in quiet parts of the town. The jewel in the crown of Malpas is its stunning Medieval church, built from rich red sandstone. Malpas lies within easy reach of the Peckforton Hills,Tarplorley and Delamere Forest, while Chester and Bangor on Dee, with their race courses, golf courses and fishing facilities are also accessible. Enjoy cycling through the countryside and boating on the nearby Shropshire Grand Union Canal, while Cholmondeley Castle and Garden, one of the region's top attractions, is a must-see.
