This detached lodge rests in the grounds of the owner's home in Brandon, Suffolk and can sleep two people in one bedroom. All-ground-floor. One bedroom: 1 x King size with en-suite shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting room with electric fire. Cloakroom with basin and WC.
The Retreat is a detached lodge situated in Brandon, Suffolk within the grounds of the owner's home. Hosting one double room with en-suite shower room, along with a separate cloakroom with basin and WC, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside there is also an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. To the outside is off-road parking, a veranda with seating, and shared use of the owners four acres of grounds. The Retreat will be just the thing you need to refresh your senses in the wonderful Suffolk countryside.

Electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, toaster, kettle, and TV. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Lodge and veranda enclosed by fencing, and 4-acre site lodge sits on is enclosed by fencing. Off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved dog welcome. Shop 0.4 miles and pub 0.3 miles. Please note: Although inside the property is all one level, there are three steps up to the front door and you must step over the threshold.

Brandon is a small town in Suffolk, surrounded by Forestry Commission and agricultural land, it is considered a rural town. There are several pubs and shops, as well as independent businesses, and every Thursday and Saturday a small market is held. Thetford Forest Park is just next door, the largest lowland pine forest in Britain, with opportunities for cycling, walking and a range of outdoor activities available.

"Back from our 4 night stay at The Retreat. One word...Wow. The directions given to us by Carol the owner were spot on. Very easy to find. The Retreat was just perfect, loved the safari theme, everything you could need was there. Very clean, cosy, set in lovely grounds and just so peaceful. The amenities are five minutes walk away for food and the local pub which, we would highly recommend for a night out. If you just wanted a relaxing night then a night in at The Retreat this is for you. The veranda is just perfect with the hammocks to just sit and enjoy the views and the quietness with a glass of wine. There is nothing i would change about The Retreat other than staying longer. The owners Carol and Ron are just a lovely couple, on hand should you need anything but they also respect your space. Very down to earth couple who made us very welcome. We just wish we could have stayed longer but we will on our next visit. The hard work that has been put into building The Retreat has paid off as it has been very well done.
