In a lovely and secluded - yet central location - in Whitby 'old town', Lavender Cottage is situated in a pretty courtyard setting just off the cobbled Church Street, near the swing bridge and harbour, a five minute walk from the train station, close to s Set over four floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x first floor twin, 1 x second floor double. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Lower ground floor kitchen with dining area. Ground floor sitting room with inglenook fireplace.

Facilities & Amenities
Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV, DVD, selection of DVDs and books. Bed linens and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Pay & Display car park and on-street parking c. 150 yards away (you can park near the cottage to unload luggage). Parking scratch cards are provided which allow you to park in any W Zone in town. Sorry, no pets. Spiral staircase to lower ground floor and upper floors.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
