Overview
A delightful farmhouse on Penmon, Anglesey. WiFi. Smart TV, Netflix and CD player. Wood Burning stove. 3 mile drive to the bustling Beaumaris and amenities. Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin. One double bedroom is accessed up a narrow steep stair and has an adjoining cloakroom with WC and handwash basin. Also adjoining it, is a quiet space for yoga/excercise. Family bathroom with rainfall shower in cubicle, bath, WC and handwash basin. Kitchen with extending oak table and seating for 6, old wooden units and a dresser. Sitting room with wood-burning stove set in a large inglenook, a window seat, reclining sofa, armchairs, flat-screen TV. A writing desk corner, with bookshelves containing books, maps and boxed DVDs. Beyond is a second quiet seating area with a sofa. Conservatory with an oak table, cane chairs, views over fields to the sea, and French windows that open on to a patio. Large, walled, natural and wild-flower garden with grassed areas, apple trees, a veg garden, patio area and BBQ fire-pit with seating.

Range-style cooker, large fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, stove-top coffee makers and cafetieres, Le Creuset casseroles. Wood burning stove, logs and kindling provided. Welcome gift of Bara Brith. Central heating. Smart TV, Anker Bluetooth speaker, radios. Line dried bed linen, tea towels and courtesy hand towels (but not bath towels, please bring). In-case-you-forget toiletries provided. Large enclosed garden, garden furniture includes bench picnic table, small patio chairs and tables, hammock, sun loungers and recliners, fixed seating at fire pit. Village shop 1 mile, nearest beach 1 mile. Up to 2 dogs welcome

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the south-eastern corner of the Isle of Anglesey, Penmon looks out across the Menai Strait towards the magnificent mountains of Snowdonia. Close by is Puffin Island, where puffins do indeed nest. They, as well as seals and porpoises and many other water fowl can be viewed from a boat trip starting from Beaumaris. Heritage lovers will enjoy discovering the historic Penmon Priory, a 13th Century Augustinian House complete with its original holy well and curious dovecote. At Black Point, near the lighthouse, the Pilot House Cafe serves coffe, teas, lunches and ice creams. Nearby White Beach is a large pebble cove and the coastal path winds via a nature reserve and scenic cliff path all the way to the open sands of Red Wharf Bay. The village of Llangoed has a shop with Post Office counter. Picturesque Beaumaris has a 13th Century moated castle, a pier, small independent shops, a gallery, exhibitions and a wide choice of bars, cafes and restaurants.
