Luxury disabled friendly first floor apartment with lift in centre of Harlech, with views of the castle. Adjustable worktops, wide doorways,wifi. One bedroom: 1 x super king (zip/link option can be made as twin beds by request), 1 x wet-room has a shower with drencher head, loo and a low wash hand basin. Open living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room with iPod docking station, Smart TV. Note: CADW membership is a 10% discount. Facilities & Amenities
Combination microwave oven & grill, Bosch oven, hob & extractor fan, cafetiere, fridge with freezer compartment. Wifi. Linen and towels provided.. Amenities on your doorstep. Note: there are no doors to any of the rooms as it's all open plan (other than bathroom with frosted glass door). Note: A parking space will be reserved for you. During your stay, you must display the sign provided in the apartment in your car.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle. Harlech Castle is recognised as the most impressive of all those built in North Wales by Edward I and has World Heritage status. The town is very popular with golfers, who come to enjoy the famous Royal St. Davids course, whilst the beautiful sandy beach is wonderful for family fun and long walks. Harlech offers an excellent variety of amenities including some good quality restaurants, whilst the whole of the Snowdonia National Park, together with the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, are all within easy reach.

"We originally booked another apartment in this complex but unfortunately we could not get the hob to work. This spoiled our first evening's self catering meal. After reporting it to Sykes Cottages we were informed that an electrician would be available for 48 hours and we were offered Bendigeidfran as a replacement. The apartment is advertised as 'luxurious' and whilst initial impressions seem to support this a closer inspection revealed it wasn't quite so. The main problem that that there was nowhere to store food and we resorted to a cardboard box under the sink. Although it's advertised as 'disabled friendly' apart from the cutlery drawer all the other cupboards are at or above shoulder level. The hot water takes an excessive amount of time to arrive resulting in a significant amount of waste water. As mentioned in another review there is insufficient cleaning items and rubbish bags provided and there is the bare minimum amount of cutlery. Altogether a very disappointing holiday"
