Duck Cottage is a characterful dwelling nestled in the lovely village of Sutton Poyntz, on the outskirts of Weymouth. It comprises three bedrooms; a king-size double with en-suite shower room, a double and children's bunks, sleeping six people altogether. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside is an open front patio and a rear, enclosed garden with lawned area and patio, and there is off-road parking for one car, with an additional space at the owner's pub opposite. Duck Cottage offers just the break you need in a wonderful part of Dorset.

Sutton Poyntz is a small village on the outskirts of Weymouth, sitting beneath the George III chalk horse that is carved into the hillside. At the centre of the village is a duck pond, and the Springhead pub. Weymouth and its golden beach is close by and just 13 miles away are the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

"Stayed here for my birthday celebrations in February with family and the famous Nelly the labrador! The cottage is immaculate with the most comfortable beds. Situated in the heart of lovely Sutton Poyntz adjacent to the duck pond and The Springhead Pub which is fabulous. Ideal location for walks in the lovely countryside and a walkable distance to Weymouth or use the bus. A lovely touch of a welcoming drink of Baileys and pastries on our first day. A really beautiful stay will be returning soon. Thank you Karen & Jo. Hope your all safe through these trying times x"
