Middleton-in-Teesdale is a small town resting on the the banks of the River Tees is the pretty Pennine AONB. Within the village itself you will find a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. The surrounding area houses a magnitude of walks along the moorland and the wooded valleys. Within close reach are the waterfalls of High Force, Gibson's Cave and Cauldron Snout, whilst the larger town of Barnard Castle is only 10 miles away.
