Stroud is known to be a quaint and quiet area of the Cotswold's, once the centre of the Cotswold's woolen industry. With plenty of pleasing shops for tourists to enjoy, it's no wonder it was once described by Jasper Conran as 'the Covent Garden of the Cotswolds'. With regular farmers markets to bring back the tradition of the town, music and theatre experiences, and wonderful walking routes, its a marvellous place to explore the land of the Cotswolds.
