Middleton-in-Teesdale is a small town resting on the banks of the River Tees is the pretty Pennine AONB. Within the town you will find a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and is surrounded by superb walking country. Within close reach are the waterfalls of High Force, Gibson's Cave and Cauldron Snout, as well as the larger town of Barnard Castle which houses further amenities.
