This stone-built cottage rests in the Cumbria village of Braithwaite and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x mezzanine double, 1 x ground floor twin. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed.
Cottage 2 is a charming abode nestled within the grounds of the Old Farmhouse Mews, in the Lake District village of Braithwaite. It hosts two bedrooms; a mezzanine double and a ground floor twin, sleeping four people altogether. There is also a ground floor shower room and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed. To the exterior is communal parking and a shared courtyard. Cottage 2 allows you to relax and unwind after a day exploring the surrounding lakes and fells in this beautiful part of the country. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Between the northern lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, lies the village of Braithwaite., with two village shops and two real ale Inns. Between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is also well worth a visit. Lake District Wildlife Park, Dodd Wood, Derwentwater, and Keswick with its wide range of attractions are within easy reach.
