"We stayed a week and coming back to the cottage after a long day sightseeing was bliss. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the beds extremely comfortable, a perfect location which is central for anyone wanting to see the sights. We easily travelled to Holy island (Lindsfarne)in the North an Bowes museum in the South as well as Durham Cathedral Hadrians Wall and Newcastle. For any one who loves history this is the perfect place to stay"
