Porthyrhyd is a small village in Carmarthenshire, with the Fiver Mynys flowing through it. You will find two traditional pubs serving good food and a general store and post office, along with many trails to enjoy walks and cycle rides, or head to the coast to find the Millenium cycle track. Venture a few miles to the Aberglasney Gardens, Pembrey Country Park, Ffos Las racecourse, Kidwelly Castle, the steam railway at Carmarthen and much more.
