Flying Scotsman is a first-floor apartment resting within the centre of Whitby. As well as off-road parking, it houses two bedrooms, comprising a family bedroom with a super-king-size bed (zip/link beds - can be made into twins) and a single bed, plus a twin bedroom (zip/link beds, can be made into a super-king-size double) with an en-suite shower, basin and WC. There is also a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC; the property sleeps 5 in total. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside, there is an undercover parking space. Flying Scotsman is a superb base for exploring this wonderful town. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its superb coastline and close proximity to the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
