The Cottage is a wonderful dwelling, resting in the village of Cartmel, Cumbria, on the fringes of the Lake District National Park. There are four bedrooms, including a king-size with a TV, a double, a bunk room and a second-floor twin, sleeping up to eight people. There is also a cloakroom/utility, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and sitting room with a woodburning stove. The Cottage is the perfect property for your getaway to the Lake District with your loved ones. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. Known as the 'prettiest village in the Lake District', Cartmel is encompassed by natural beauty, with lots to explore in its immediate and surrounding areas. Stroll along the streamside and head along the cobbled streets to find a selection of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, ideal for any relaxing afternoon. In close reach are the attractions of The National Hunt Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall, or head further afield to discover the excitement of Windermere.
