Amble is a town and civil parish in Northumberland, situated on the River Croquet. The town has a weekly market on Sundays and has an array of local pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes to indulge in. Take a boast ride to the nearby Coquet Island, which is an excellent opportunity for bird watchers, with plenty of wildlife nearby.

"Excellent location. Near to all amenities but also tucked away from it all at the same time. Edward's Cottage is a home from home, it has all the essentials you need and more. Beautifully presented property and also pet friendly - what a bonus! Amble is a lovely little town and there are many other places and beaches to visit close by. "This was our first visit to Amble and to Edwards Cottage. We were not disappointed. The property is very tastefully decorated with quality furnishings and everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cottage itself is very spacious with a delightful lounge and fantastic kitchen diner with a fabulous large dining table. We had family stay our second night and cooked a meal with everything we needed in terms of utensils. A lovely welcome pack was left by the owner to kick start our few days away. Amble itself was great with a small town for essentials and a pretty marina area which was buzzing when we got their, all within walking distance of the cottage. Plenty of parking right outside the front door too. If you want a quality cottage that really feels special then do try Edwards Cottage. We will most definitely be back soon!"
"We stayed at Edwards Cottage for our anniversary in April and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully decorated and everything is brand new. We got parked right outside the door and the location of the house is perfect. There are all the local amenities you could want within a few minutes walk including a number of shops and restaurants. We ate at The Fish shack which served fantastic fresh fish and also had Carvery Sunday lunch at The Amble Inn. Amble is in an ideal location for lots of day trips to other areas of Northumberland. We visited Warkworth, Bamburgh and holy island during our stay. Communication with the owner was excellent, both before and during our stay and she even left a lovely welcome hamper with wine and snacks for us upon arrival. I would definitely stay again and recommended to anyone wanting to visit Northumberland."
