The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, is the village of West Ayton. Here, you will find a 14th-century castle a community centre, a surgery, a pub and a number of local businesses. Across the River Derwent is its twin village of East Ayton. Within 6 miles you will find the resort town of Scarborough which plays host to a busy town centre, a beach and a harbour.
