LOCATION Sandquay Road is just a short walk from the centre of Dartmouth, filled with narrow, winding streets and has many fine shops, restaurants, cafes and art galleries. The nearby villages of Stoke Gabriel and Dittisham are just a short trip up the river. Along the coast in the opposite direction is Start Bay, with its beautiful coves and sandy beaches.
VIEWS There are views towards and over the River Dart from the lounge, balcony and bedrooms.
ENTRANCE Steps lead up from Sandquay Road to a level terrace and the front door. Off the hallway is a utility cupboard with hanging space, a washing machine and freezer.
LOUNGE/DINING ROOM A spacious, open plan room with two double leather sofas, oak desk and chair, coffee table, flat widescreen TV with Freeview, Blu-ray DVD player and CD radio stereo Hi Fi with iPod docking unit. Sliding French doors to full length balcony. Oak table with four chairs.
KITCHEN Adjacent to the sitting room is a stunning new kitchen equipped to the highest standards with fitted units, granite worktops, four-ring halogen hob, electric oven, fridge (with freezer compartment), dishwasher and microwave.
BEDROOMS Two. Master bedroom with King-size bed, bedside units, built-in wardrobes, chest of drawers, dressing table and stool. Door to small terrace with lovely views. The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds (that can be made up as a double on request), bedside unit, dressing table and stool and wardrobe. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied.
BATHROOM Tiled family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and w.c.
OUTSIDE At the front of the lodge is a superb balcony with lovely views. At the side (adjacent to the entrance) is a small terrace area with table and chairs.
PARKING A good sized lockable single garage (W:2.4m, H:2.05m, D:5.0m (3.6m to mezzanine at H:1.8m)) suitable for most cars is available below the lodge in Sandquay Road.
DART MARINA SPA MEMBERSHIP Guests can enjoy the use of the luxury facilities of the Dart Marina Health Spa, including indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi, gym and beautifully designed relaxation areas. Please check directly with the Spa for opening times and for restrictions on when children can use the pool. Beauty treatments from Elemis are available, which should be pre-booked to avoid disappointment, with 10% off for those staying at Quay Lodge. Please check details with the office.
OTHER INFORMATIONÂ Oak flooring in most rooms, underfloor heating and hot water. Strictly no smokers or pets permitted. Beach/picnic chairs provided for guests (stored in garage). Shared Wi-fi available.
