LOCATION Just 50m or so from Hope Coves popular sandy beaches and within a 10 minute walk of the village pub, shop and cafe. The South West Coast Path - for stunning coastal walks including to South Milton Sands, Thurlestone, Soar Mill Cove and beyond - can be accessed quickly and easily from the house. Bantham, popular with surfers, is just a short drive away, whilst picturesque Salcombe, with its shops, art galleries, restaurants and pretty waterfront, can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes.
VIEWS Pleasant sea views from a number of rooms, particularly the first floor sitting room.
ENTRANCE From a small terrace the front entrance offers access into a lobby which in turn leads into the adjacent dining room and ground floor bedroom.
KITCHEN On the ground floor is fully fitted kitchen with a good range of units, tiled flooring, ceramic topped cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and small breakfast table with 3 chairs. A door leads out to the rear terrace.
DINING ROOM The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, has a large table seating ten, bay window to the front, and various units and shelving with books and games etc.
SITTING ROOM On the first floor is a dual aspect sitting room with good sea views, furnished with two double sofas, TV, DVD player, VCR and CD/radio hi-fi.
SNUG A small area on the ground floor with portable TV and two chairs.
BEDROOMS Five in total. On the ground floor is a double room with King size pine bed, bedside tables, wardrobes and bay window with a glimpse of the sea, and a bunk room for children. At first floor level are two further double rooms, one with a King-size bed and the other with a regular double, and a twin room with two singles. N.B. All duvets and pillows are provided - bed linen and towels are not supplied but can be hired at additional cost (beds not made up).
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS On the ground floor is a shower room with corner unit, electric shower, w.c. and basin. A first floor bathroom has a bath (with shower over), w.c. and basin.
OUTSIDE There is a good sized area of mainly paved terrace to the rear of the house with garden table and chairs, and barbecue.
PARKING There is a private (but relatively narrow) drive with off-road parking for 2 cars, plus on road parking in the village nearby.
OTHER INFORMATION The house is fully double-glazed and enjoys the benefits of central heating and hot water. Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking but up to two dogs are permitted. N.B. Discounts available for short-breaks and reduced occupancy out of season please check with our Salcombe office prior to booking.
